What started as a tribute to Peter has grown into a powerful gathering that highlights resilience, community, and the boundless potential of individuals with disabilities. Stivers Subaru’s commitment to our event has been instrumental in helping us expand our impact in the special needs community. With Stivers Subaru by our side, this year’s Pound the Pavement for Peter was a day filled with inspiration, joy, and connection. We are grateful to everyone who joined us on race day and helped make this event a memorable celebration of inclusion. Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool (OCP) is a parent-run, nonprofit preschool located in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur, Georgia. Founded in 2000, the school operates on a cooperative model, meaning that parents play an active role in the day-to-day functioning and administration of the preschool. This collaborative approach fosters a strong sense of community among families, teachers, staff, and our partners. For almost 20 years, Stiver's Subaru has been one of our most beloved and supportive community partners. Stiver's has sponsored OCP's Pete the Cat - Beat the Street for Little Feet race every year since 2005! Their steadfast, generous support over the years has been instrumental in making this event a success and in fostering a spirit of community in Decatur. Thanks to Stiver's commitment, we’ve been able to create unforgettable experiences for our families and friends while raising essential funds to enhance our preschool. the Stiver's partnership truly helps OCP provide a nurturing environment for our children to learn, grow, and thrive. Ellis Center Thanks Stivers Subaru For Their Continued Support! - Caroline L
For multiple years now, Stivers Subaru of Decatur has continued to uplift the Ellis Center, a school focused on students with complex communication needs & multiple disabilities. Because of Stivers support for the 2024-2025 school year, we have been able to access the most up-to-date assistive technology and adapted materials. This includes making sure every one of our students has their own iPad for extra supports and adapted materials to assist students with baking, crafts, & more! We couldn't do it without you Stivers Subaru!
Classic Subaru of Atlanta Spreads Hope, Love, & Warmth to Blood Cancer Patients! - Sydney T
Classic Subaru of Atlanta partners with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to deliver blankets and arts & craft kits to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta as part of the Subaru Loves to Care program. These comforting gifts were accompanied by personalized messages of hope written by the customers and staff of Classic Subaru of Atlanta. LLS is proud to partner with Classic Subaru of Atlanta to spread hope, love and warmth to those fighting cancer, across the country and right here in our community. A huge thank you to Liam Bennett and his team for supporting LLS’s mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
