2024 Subaru Ascent Trim Levels
The Subaru Ascent is a midsize three-row SUV that can seat up to eight and the largest vehicle in the Subaru lineup. There are six 2024 Subaru Ascent trim levels to consider ranging from the affordable Base to the luxury-oriented Touring. All-wheel drive is standard. All models have a continuously variable transmission, and that CVT is mated to a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine: 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.
Base Trim
A Class III receiver hitch is optional with all 2024 Subaru Ascent trim levels in Decatur at Stivers Decatur Subaru. However, the Base is limited to 2,000 pounds. All upper trims can tow up to 5,000 pounds. The Base has 18-inch aluminum wheels and LED headlamps. Inside, you’ll find seating for eight, premium cloth upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, an 11.6-inch infotainment touch screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto and six-speaker sound system. Standard driver assists include trailer sway damping, adaptive headlamps, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping and forward collision warning with automatic braking.
Premium Trim
The second of the 2024 Subaru Ascent trim levels in Decatur is the first to give you the option of the second-row captain’s chairs and thus seating for seven. It also adds heated mirrors to the exterior, and the cabin gets higher-grade materials, heated front seats, power-adjustable driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and rear climate controls. You also get evasive steering assist, blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning, and if you opt for the seven-passenger configuration, you get a power liftgate, a rear center console, proximity keyless entry, push-button start and rear automatic braking.
Onyx Edition Trim
The Onyx Edition is based on the seven-passenger Premium but upgraded for off-road use. These 2024 Subaru Ascent trim levels have an enhanced AWD system for improved traction when off-roading and also have a darkened appearance package that is exclusive to the Onyx Edition models. This trim also adds LED fog lamps, a heated steering wheel and water-repellent synthetic leather upholstery.
Onyx Edition Limited Trim
The third of the 2024 Subaru Ascent trim levels in Decatur at Stivers Decatur Subaru is similar to the standard Onyx Edition just discussed but with even more amenities and tech. Technologies include a driver attention monitor, an intercom system known as Cabin Connect and a 360-degree surround-view monitor as opposed to the standard rearview monitor. Cabin upgrades include a deluxe driver’s seat with more adjustments and memory settings, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated second-row seats and an integrated navigation system.
Other Trim Levels
There are two other 2024 Subaru Ascent trim levels to consider: Limited and Touring. These have most of the equipment discuss above where applicable and minus the Onyx Edition-specific items. The Limited adds special 20-inch wheels, genuine leather seating, a dashboard covered in simulated leather and retractable sunshades in the second row. The equipment differences between the Limited and Onyx Edition Limited are covered by optional package that adds a dual-pane panoramic sunroof with a sunshade, folding mirrors with integrated turn signals, a cargo cover, integrated navigation, a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, Cabin Connect, a surround-view monitor and a driver attention monitor. The Touring includes that optional package. It also adds premium leather upholstery, power-folding mirrors, a customizable interior ambient lighting system, a 120-volt power outlet, heated and ventilated front seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers and a front-facing camera.
